Stagnated Energies

Poorna Yoga itself in one aspect is balancing the energies that is stagnated in parts. it applies to hatha, raja, karma too. in bone joints exercises doctors says this too.

  • energies stagnated in physical when released spreads as skills
  • energies stagnated in mental will be as opinions and prejudice. when released it is evolution
  • vital energies when stagnated will be as negative attitudes. when released it becomes positive character
  • In Spirit knowledge is stagnated. when released comes as values

Being non-reactive, in behaviour in an act many a times is just keeping mum on the surface. It will have an iota of ego or even more that “I don’t care you attitude” which energises the opponent.

Many a times I boil inside more than the non-reaction I show.

Second if it is due to response based on some weakness, say they are superior, or you cannot do anything at that moment or the fault is yours etc., it energises them to exploit you.

Not only this all values when adhered need proper attitude behind that to give strength.  Or at the minimum correct understanding of that attitude. Many of reaction is from our nerves which we try to supress, but the need is we should eradicate responding though emotions or mind behind that. 

Without reaction (collect your poise without your ego) you can be even assertive. Once there was pending payment from a big company for more than six months. I tried all that I know in terms of consciousness approach. When I wrote this to Karmayogi, he replied collect all poise of calmness without ego that you are right. When you feel you are ready call him and tell you need money back in 24 hours.  I received a NEFT in 2 hours.

Practice makes it perfect.

Karmayogi  says non-reaction cannot be easily trained, especially self-trained. Because in those situations we tend to keep quiet not understanding that non-reaction is from different planes. In those situations, this kind of idleness absorbs excess energy into sedate stagnation only to be released later. That is why Karmayogi  says to release the energy acquired through wanton “non-reaction” through magnanimity, generosity, munificence, nobility, honour etc,

I practiced the following method:

  • The first step being not to question the veracity of another,
  • Second is inability for hard feelings or to think low of others.
  • Third is to conceive that nothing bad can come to you without your having the same thing inside, an external event that provokes is not to be reacted against. The work is there for inside to move the offending trait.

Mother says in one of the Q&A:

  • Even if you are in a hurry to do something, step back for a while and you will discover to your surprise how much sooner and with what greater success your work can be done.
  • If someone is angry with you, do not be caught in his vibrations but simply step back and his anger, finding no support or response, will vanish.
  • Always keep your peace, resist all temptation to lose it. Never decide anything without stepping back, never speak a word without stepping back, never throw yourself into action without stepping back.

Karmayogi says step back from the surface is the first method to start watching inner dynamic movements. To observe the thoughts and urges , the first movement is to step back and look at it, to separate yourself from your thoughts so that the movement of the consciousness and that of thoughts and urges and desires  may not be confused.

To see the connections, we have to think -. we are in the clutch of routine vital.

Coming out of that is symbolized by our thinking.

However, thinking is mostly of what we call as pre-occupation of non-entity, or on known lines.

He says only those who start thinking that –why I am like this? -is the starting point of progress at higher levels.

Because –we are today what we are – because this is the position, we can reach by choices we made based on our thinking in different stages of life-which we ourselves now agree is based on utter stupidity. So the choices we make now decides our future.

Karmayogi says by thinking only individuality emerges.

Think of understanding the content or essence just 1% more than last time. Raise the efficiency to the level possible.  You can think of doing this even in daily routine like washing, reading, cooking, typing, and packing. (Karmayogi gives an example. We think when the cloths are rinsed in water two or three times it is over. But the efficiency of washing is that the final rinse in water should not show any change in water-it should be crystal clear as good as when it is piped. That is understanding the essence of washing).
