Karmayogi says urge has a desire behind it for a fulfilment. For example, urge to eat a sweet is physical desire or desire of some part of body for a fulfilment either for sweet tooth or for even and insulin requirement. Urge to speak loudly is desire to dominate. Energy of the urge depends on strength of the desire behind it.
There was recurring busting of electrical meter box in a house and once even in transformer nearby. She was advised to take her urge to hear something bad to happen to somebody which is desire of her ill will. The energy of ill will so strong that it was her urge which other wise could not withstand her body expressed in nearby power area is the explanation given.
We can see that we may have certain desires, but all don’t urge us, that is because of – we may be reality of financial constraints, social stigma, conscience even dogma or even for behaviour and manners- which prevents urge getting energised for fulfilment .
Karmayogi says this is cloistered virtue. These are suppression of desires due to various reasons and definite the energy generated will be directed to some other area – from simple ailment to accidents.
What is needed is reasons behind any of the above should be understood in this essence which Karmayogi says -is educating the nerves which removes the roots of the energy that is supplied from desires.
I tried the following methods: in all situations / are in urge- whether this is urge or a necessity.
After sticking this in purse – I may fill my basket in a supermarket with all I like. But in billing counter, when I open the purse this word with Mothers eyes makes me to take half of the unnecessary things out of basket. The same in restaurant before ordering, before buying cloths, all reduced by expenditure at-least by 40%.
Similarly, when in work, just a step back and ask this question – will show how much time you are wasting in unnecessary browsing or in other deviation.
Urge to speak loudly which is desire to dominate, when asked changes to silent will.
In short, the power of life is in the power of ideas that urge gives.
