Sri Karmayogi says, the only difficulty for us is after starting yogic principles in life, we continue to value our social, mental and moral personalities, capacities, engagements and placements. There we stop. Decision to begin yoga, maintain the decision with constant effort and translation of aspiration to “Will” alone matters.
The method he suggests is: Aspiration – Concentration – Consecration.
Aspiration:
We all have a small or basic aspiration to do something for Mother. He says it is enough we do not kill the aspiration, do nothing against that aspiration. For example, mind will think of some solution based on our own understanding for our satisfaction. Vital will ask for food or a desire or even gossips for an emotional satisfaction. Physical will ask for an easy chair.
Concentration:
Silencing all that consciously with a question what our choice is and What is Mother’s choice will give new suggestions to all above. As these needs’ constant and conscious remembrance of Mother in mind or in heart it amounts to concentration. Appa gives an example of a mother always having watchful eye or senses on her child even though she the child will be playing away from her.
Consecration:
He says instead having different concentration method Appa asks us to make a single point of concentration in heart, in head, or even in a blessing packet in our packet. (Few times I felt blessing packet vibrating in was about to do wrong thing) so that you can ask Her sanction to do.
Now you slowly start doing things for Mother in a way you know as Mothers ways. That way you can keep and pursue your aspiration. WE can do even in small things which we think insignificant. Sri Karmayogi says if you sit in chair consciously and get up in an elegant way consciously – it is doing for Mother.
