Mother says, “One’s karma, if not subjected to prejudice and opinions, is abolished”.
Sri Karmayogi says this is the practical concept of infinity.
Potential in us is restricted due to external influences. When we come out of that- infinity unfolds before us. For example, when there was an insurance boom in late seventies -insurance agents were recruited. In our village all but one resigned -because there was ire from villagers on speaking about death of a person when they are alive and so they are sentimentally disturbed. All but one feared the ire and resigned, whereas the one who opposed the village and went ahead to promote insurance in nearby towns, soon became envy of the village and became a millionaire club member within a short span of time and bought almost about half of the village agricultural lands. When others limited themselves to sentiments (finite) -though some had more influential and had more contacts than this person- one came out of that and saw the infinite.
Similarly when Asian games boom was there in early eighties every school promoted some kind of sports to be in stream with nation when our school in nearby town too promoted -we were prevented joining that coming in late evenings as “ghost may catch us”. Whoever participated in that- (even in not much relevant sports like KHO-KHO) later got sports quota and joined good organization or government service-though we are more talented and athletic than them. We limited ourselves -though we had potential to finite irrationality
Infinity comes out of Finite when we get “Life sense”. But what we have is only “Ego sense”.
We can see even in prayers we limit ourselves to what we want, though we are greedy enough for 100 or 1000 crores that Sri Karmayogi says. But most of the time we never ask that. We pray for next level of promotion or next good job but not to become CEO of that company. We limit ourselves to what we know.
When we understand the Infinite in us-Finite vanishes. This point is the prosperity point for the devotees -as this is the point where philosophy and life meet. (For example, even in small fact like silence: Silence is good-says the philosophy. We make a noisy work- is life. When we do our work silently Infinite result emerges).
As this is to certain extent Infinite expressing in finite-the reflection will be character and personality of the individual -which in turn change the character of his life.
Infinity -for us is still a theoretical concept and we believe in that because of our devotion to Sri Karmayogi. It can become as conception of our practical life -to change the present character of life-when this conception is expressed through values that Divine uses for evolution. For example in both the incident I narrated about the person who changed their course of life -took the value “courage”.
I too came up in life and changed my character of life -only when I took the same courage to come out of such clutches after 20 years or so.
This only shows that life does not permit or reward any other movement except what it chooses for evolution-sooner or later.
Our life depends on how much we are alert-every moment-in keeping our whole being for evolution.
