As Bhagwan says in “MOTHER” we approach everything with an opinion and a prejudice.
That is why Sri Karmayogi says to find out the subtle indicator-wait a moment –think whether it is (Whatever we do) is an essential need or a desire to be fulfilled. Sometimes our needs, demands and desires exceed beyond that border. In that case a strong opinion that can be defended rationally well for the question “why”-than that are weakly defended shall be preferred.
When we observe consciously life around us – we can see the subtle signs, what it is indicating, and take right decisions, so that we attract right life response. Or we can say when we make right decisions based on our conscious observation of atmosphere and circumstances, life brings positive opportunities.
As the matured feeling that culminates as thought, that leads to action is form of evolution -gives best- but among the available alternatives only.
But at the same time if we go for content –like I should have ice cream today-and I will take whatever comes on my way –irrespective of brand, shop, preferences etc., it is called as psychological development towards the process of ascent, which gives the best- overcoming the parking, price, brand, time barriers.
Sri Karmayogi says, when the present knowledge and will is saturated, the KNOWLEDGE with the WILL required is acquired by the mind, the target will be touched, and the act completes itself with more charm to give more joy in next level.
Seeing and understating the subtle indications of life coming out of our limits of mind is according to Sri Karmayogi – is rational thinking. Rational thinking is not seeing right things to do in our mind. It is searching in our sprit to do right things. This develops as insight and intuition to instruct the mind on what to do or what not to do.
Supramental perception provides even greater results — perfect knowledge and will that bring fresh, unthought of, creative, dynamic outcomes of the instantaneous miraculous variety. Here the mind does not churn as in ordinary Mind, and yet gives even greater, more multifaceted and integrated results than intuition.
Instead of thinking so many things this can be said in short as consecrate to Mother.
At first level we understand consecration as telling to Mother and doing in our own way. Still we get best results. Sri Karmayogi says this as –“life” responding to our trying to invoke the force/ Mother. After consecrating, as long as one is moved by external forces and preferences -consecration is unreal. But still it may give results.
But telling Mother of our choices and doing it in Mother’s ways that is best known to us, is realising the act, which makes its consecration real. Now knowledge of his decision, of-course by his choice, instantaneously goes into action. Human choice at this level is a movement in evolution so giving better results. This decision releases the physical energy which acts on its own by moving matter in right direction. Because what was energized here is not the vital choice -but the mental decision.
Sri Karmayogi puts this in very simple terms: “right attitude for progress”. He says man loves to be clumsy. For example, if an office assistant does a manager’s jobs it will be clumsy. Similarly, He says, we are doing with vital and physical- what mind has to do and the results are clumsy.
When lower part/plane does the work of the higher part clumsiness results. He says right attitude for progress is thinking the “content” without any opinion, prejudices and other 30 attributes that is given in the book “The Mother”. Make decisions based on that, organize and hand it over to the body to execute.
Man has moved to a mental centre from his original physical centre. This is his evolution, but it is slow. Hastening this process is yoga.
In this context if a person wants to move to the mental plane, it is to submit the vital to the mental before making any decisions. The lower plane moves to the higher by fulfilling itself and this process is slow. The higher plane brings up the lower by fulfilling the lower from above and this process is quicker.
In all decisions – if the will of the lower plane accepts the will of the higher plane –brings greater accomplishment.
