Sri Karmayogi says:
“Consecration of the Urge – the urge to make Consecration a Success- is a yogic poise. Such a Consecration will move Her Power universally”.

When I gave a thought on above lines, I understood as follows:

We all know that India is reeling under industrial slow down (in 2012 ) and so many of the projects are slowed down or sized down to half. My company depends on infra and industrial projects for protective coating jobs. For past one year, the payments for the work done are getting delayed. As the progress of the work is slow, materials were idling, ageing to expiry. Though there were temptation to get payments by tipping, or by selling balance products in open market (as others do, but it is breach of contract for subcontractors to involve in trading / selling). I resisted those ways and consecrated the thoughts. But nothing moved. And over a period, I got fed up and just doing what comes on my way. Then I even resisted the urge to consecrate those days without any particular reason, by just brushing away the thought to consecrate.

Suddenly one day there was a little change in industrial atmosphere – as the Finance Ministry had announced a special infra development fund to speed up the infra projects and other industrial projects and advised Banks to be liberal in granting the loans to constructors involved in infra projects. The company which supplies the materials to me also made an amendment that contractors, subcontractors, and applicators can sell / trade the excess stocks. Both were big relief for me, as slowly I started receiving pending payments as well as selling stocks which were almost nearing expiry, else I would have incurred a heavy loss.

Both the Orders were of much benefit, not only for me but for the entire Industry, which is the main activity for development of infra structure of India.

Similarly, for another devotee : one year back it was almost 8 – 10 hours a day power shut down was there in Tamilnadu. The devotee who is in agriculture with huge cultivable land at his disposal and in farm product production got much affected due to power problem and resultant irrigation problem. The same is for his entire village. He prayed and consecrated and done everything on what we do when the power goes. But nothing happened. In fact, we can say worse happened as the electricity problem increased to more than 12 hours a day. He got vexed. Not able to do anything over a long period, dropped consecrating not knowing what to do. It is point of indifference, to whatever was happening around him.

Suddenly one day, a nearby town to his village was announced as industrial area, and a big food product manufacturing Multinational company announced to develop a manufacturing unit for which nonstop power supply is promised by the Government and also needed a heavy water resource. In a compensation to that, the company said that all recycled purified water will be passed on to the lands and will advise on alternative irrigation methods, fund for the same and buy all farm production from them. The entire village people were assured of development for at least to next ten years. Not only that as the land value got increased due to adjacent factory, but everybody also became richer by what they lost in one year.

So, this is the effect of resisting the urge to consecrate based on ignorance.
