Involution is infinity changing into the finite. Evolution is finite turning into infinite.

We have to see every moment whether we are using all our time, skills, and capacities to its fullest utilization. Then it is evolution. If we do not use all our time, skills and capacities to its fullest utilization it is involution.

All our attachment to false hood in day-to-day life are involution. It is he dividing mind, in the process of involution. How it cannot act as the instrument of evolution.

Our every step towards false hood is involution, but it also comes with provision for evolution. To know that helps one to understand The Life Divine. Involution reversing itself as evolution is the secret of transformation.

Seeing the cause in outer is involution, seeing the correspondence in inner is evolution.

• Man repeating the function of Infinite’s creation of form at his level to rise from ignorance is evolution. Living with prejudices, opinions and preferences un changed is going inside the ignorance is involution.
• Expecting results based on our strength of action which has limitations is involution. Calling Mother to give strength to do that extra bit in higher level is evolution.
• Taking all at its face value without question is involution. Rising the mental interest of understanding is evolution.
• Enjoyment based on vital pleasures is involution. (Sri Karmayogi gives an example: when somebody says, I like vathakozhambu and appalam , it is taste of poverty. Because it is just for few seconds for tongue and don’t have any nutritional value). Enjoyment in quality joy is evolution.
• Monotonous regular working methods based on habits is involution. Physical expressing higher precision and perfection is evolution.
• To be irresistible to life is involution. To be conscious is -to see that all our lower consciousness is irresistible and bringing under our conscious control is evolution.

Divine has given us a mind that is incapable of reconciling opposites in order to discover the greater reality of which these apparent opposites are expressions. For example – Mind cannot reconcile logic and faith. If we say you can know something rationally, but something else has to be accepted on faith, the mind says I can only do one or the other. I can have faith in it, or I can try to know it. I cannot do both.

So evolution is a complete contradiction of our mind to find out what Mother says about any given moment in our life is constant evolution.

The following are the minimum scales of values which we have to try for evolution in consciousness – in every moment.

•     Values that we think as our culture, family tradition and brought up.
•     Values based on what we know as conscience.
•     Values based on what we know as spirituality.
•     Values based – how we want others to behave / treat us.
•     Values based on our knowledge of privacy and comfort zone for us – and giving the
