Any fear rises out of some doubt or disbelief. Only medicine for that is faith. If that faith is Mother, it is great. Because fear is the great separator of mind from spirit. While you fear, you are unable to trust divine. Mind follows people who pressure you to fear things in life or follows circumstances that defy faith.

Faith is the knowledge of the soul. To make it as knowledge of our mind we have to take any one aspect of Mother in that situation without thinking about the end result. We know what we deserve, and Mother knows that more. Our fear is mostly will be like,” we want something and what happens if that does not happen or this should not happen etc., and we want Mother to do that. We can clearly notice that in cases where we ourselves feel guilty of deviating from Mother’s principles we will not go to Mother. If we take all that comes is for Good and all that Mother gives is Good there is no necessity of fear. Courage to implement Mother’s principles and values is taking out the fear of situation or future.

One of the devotees who stopped tipping Govt officials long back had a dilemma when a one crore contract came to him –if he tips 5% he will get that. But after that he decided to rely on Mother’s principles and refused to pay and lost the contract. But the very next day on hearing this a competitor company approached him and offered rights for the services for to states Tamil Nadu and Kerala which can be got only on a deposit of Rs. 10.00 lakhs. Now he is entrepreneur.

Another devotee who is leading a normal life as a grouts mechanic is known as brother of a rich person who is realtor in a nearby village. When the realtor’s entire family of four died in an accident the VAO said to get an official heir certificate. The devotee refused and said that he is not the original brother; he is so called because he was brought up in that house. VAO insisted that nobody knows that as the entire village knows only him as brother and he is the one who is going to issue the certificate. But the devotee refused. But within days a call from leading Construction Company came to him to do a specialized work in South Africa on grouts and the payment was almost equal to his one-year remuneration. That lured him to go there and there he was appointed as supervisor till completion of that project for the salary per month equivalent to his yearly remuneration.

I think it is really enormous courage to follow Mother’s principles in these situations. They were not lured by the outcome of any situation, and they didn’t have any expectations.

Sri Karmayogi says that fear is the aspiration of the timid. Fear rises as long as one is wedded to separation. Fear goes forever when the union or unity with the Spirit is felt. Beyond that, occasions of fear are moments of exhilaration of courage.
