Mother says, “Holiday can be called as day of God. During six days in a week- men work for their personal interest and for egoistic motives, consciously or unconsciously. So at least in the seventh day stop working. Do not waste time in a futile attempt at amusing oneself. But, to look inwardly or upwardly in contemplation of the source, origin of their existence and consciousness in order to identify with it and renew their energies”.
So in short, a week is conceived this way: Six days of work for the collectivity to which the individual belonged and the seventh day of the week was reserved for the inner quest for the divine and offering of the ones being to the divine will. This is the only meaning and only the true reason for the so-called Sunday rest.
As we are always filled with gratitude after coming to Mother for all that SHE gave to us, the only way to show that is helping HER to transform us as per HER wish. Sri Karmayogi says, …….’They hear of Mother, Spirit, Force takes interest to bring them what they cannot avail of. There is a dramatic change in their pathetic situation. All the difficulties are over for the moment. As soon as they are relieved, the very first thing they do is to go back to their old habits that undid them, such as anger, stinginess, clumsiness, assertion, deceit, lying, etc. Now their wail is greater still. “Mother, what a pass I have come to. Why is life cruel to me?” Life is not cruel to them. They refuse to learn. With a vengeance, they go back to their ways that ruined them. Life, Force, Spirit, Mother at these moments wait patiently until they learn on their own.
For that Sri Karmayogi says install HER in us. The easiest way to install Mother in us is bringing HER aspects in our life and eradication of all those aspects and values that SHE doesn’t want- in us.
Though SHE suggests daily introspection and Sri Karmayogi suggests -half an hour with Mother, to make it still easier why not we take Sri Karmayogi’s other preferred method ‘Token Act’. One hour in a weekly holiday to rewind the last weeks happening and note all that we have done against Mother’s principles and note- what actually we should have done. List out and pray to Mother to help us not to repeat it again for next six days as ‘Token Act’.
Mother responds to every men and creatures call initially to make them know HER presence. But is not HER duty to fulfil every of your wishes. The force has a purpose. Transformation and speed up the humanity for next level. So, unless we turn to HER there is no meaning in crying that, “initially everything came and then everything is stopped, Mother has let me down”. Mother has not left us. We have left HER- fearing to change ourselves. The proverb of not being able to make the horse drink is too true.
